Four Houses purchased for ministry to ex-prisoners and homeless

New ministry needs furniture, household items, paint & remodeling supplies to furnish and repair these homes.  Homes will be used to house men that are coming out of prison or living on the streets.  Participants will receive help finding jobs, counseling for addictions, etc. to help them become productive citizens.  They most importantly will receive a Christian witness.

If you have items you can donate, please contact Johnnie Livingston at 909-3553.  He can arrange to have the furniture picked up.

Pray for student leaders as they prepare over the summer to be small group Bible study leaders on their campus.   With 12,000 college students at the 5 campuses in Spartanburg, there is a tremendous mission field right here at home!    We need individuals or families to "adopt" a college student -- build a relationship with them -- help them move in their dorm room --  invite them to your home for a meal -- just interact with them!  Many, especially International students, may never be invited into an American home while at college.  What a missed opportunity to share the Gospel with a student that may go back to their home country as a new believer and missionary to their own people.
We have exciting news about our new BCM facility!  We will be working on renovations for the property that BCM purchased near the Upstate Campus.  We believe this will be an ideal location to see our college ministry grow, as well as a place to house our semester interns.  If you are interested in helping with renovations (painting, removing old carpet, refinishing floors, etc.) give us a call (582-4609) or visit our web site. God is doing amazing things in the lives of college students.  Join Him!
